Meet the Owners
Our Directors, Lawrence and Connie Walker, have been in business for more than 3 decades. Lawrence joined his father, Dr. Lafayette Walker, in the business in 1982. Wanting to keep up with his warrior of a father, who was promoted to National Sales Director in record time, and the first person in the history of the company to earn $100,000 in income on just investments alone, Lawrence hit the ground running. It took Lawrence only 1 year to earn his Regional Vice President's contract and 2 short years later he earned his Senior Vice President's contract.
In 1987, Lawrence recruited his best recruit, Connie McGinty, into the business. At the time she had taken a leave of absence from her corporate job and was the sole proprietor of The Upstairz Wardrobe. That same year Lawrence was promoted to the highest possible contract level, National Sales Director. Connie was a Regional Leader & running the office when they married in 1989.
In 1993 the power couple had 2 children; DaVia & JR, and was promoted to Senior National Sales Director. Since that time, they welcomed 2 more children, Ciani and Chalyn. They are honored to have added many prestigious titles such as Investment Advisory Council, African American Leadership Council, and the Wall of fame. Connie sat on Primerica's inaugural Partner's Board.
Of the many blessings they are most proud of 3 things: being the first father & son team to be on the Wall of Fame and have their portraits hanging in the Home Office in Atlanta, to be the first family in the company to have a 3rd generation RVP, their 1st born, DaVia, and having the AALC name an award after their father, the Dr Lafayette Walker Award.
This family is not done blazing trails. Once they cross the million-dollar threshold in the next few months, they look forward to producing the most million dollar hierarchies the company has yet seen. To quote Winston Churchill, "History will be kind to me for I intend to write it."
